CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Made With Care.
Keep It That Way.

A little gentle care helps your handmade piece stay beautiful, soft, and special for years to come.

01

GENTLE CARE FIRST

Handle With a Little Extra Love

Handmade crochet pieces are created stitch by stitch, so gentle handling is always best. Avoid pulling, stretching, or tugging on yarn, small details, or attached accessories.

If your piece is decorative, keeping handling to a minimum will help it maintain its original shape and appearance.

02

WHEN IT NEEDS CLEANING

Spot Clean Whenever Possible

For most handmade pieces, we recommend gentle spot cleaning rather than frequent full washing. Use a soft cloth with cool or lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent.

Blot gently instead of rubbing or scrubbing. Avoid bleach, harsh cleaners, and strong stain removers, which may affect the yarn or color.

03

AFTER CLEANING

Let It Air Dry Naturally

After cleaning, gently reshape the piece with your hands and allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area.

Avoid wringing, twisting, tumble drying, ironing, or placing the item directly on a heater. High heat may change the shape or texture of the yarn and decorative details.

04

KEEP COLORS BEAUTIFUL

Protect It From Heat & Strong Sunlight

For longer-lasting color, avoid prolonged exposure to strong direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and humid storage conditions.

For car hangings and other pieces displayed in a vehicle, remember that parked cars can become very hot. When possible, avoid leaving handmade items in extreme heat for long periods.

05

WHEN YOU’RE NOT USING IT

Store It Clean, Dry & Gently

Before storing your handmade piece, make sure it is completely clean and dry. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Avoid placing heavy objects on top of crochet pieces, as long-term pressure may flatten or distort their shape.

A NOTE ABOUT HANDMADE

Small changes over time are part of its story.

Because each piece is handmade, slight changes in shape, softness, or texture can naturally happen with use. Gentle reshaping by hand is often all it needs to look lovely again.

CARE FAQ

A Few Helpful Answers

Can I put my crochet piece in the washing machine?

Unless the individual product instructions specifically say otherwise, we recommend gentle spot cleaning. This gives delicate handmade details the best protection.

What should I do if my piece gets wet?

Gently blot away excess moisture, reshape the piece by hand, and allow it to air dry completely. Avoid wringing, twisting, or applying direct heat.

Can I use a dryer or iron?

We recommend avoiding tumble dryers and direct ironing unless the care instructions for your specific product state otherwise. High heat can affect yarn, stuffing, shape, and decorative details.

How do I fix a piece that looks slightly flattened?

Use clean, dry hands to gently reshape and fluff the piece. Avoid pulling individual stitches or attached details.

What if my item needs more specific care?

Different materials and designs may need different care. Please follow any product-specific instructions included with your order, or contact us if you are unsure.
